This version is made from white stoneware clay, and fired to stoneware temperatures making it frost resistant. They are textured using gestural mark making, which when glazed creates an interesting effect.

They are glazed with a copper based glaze I make myself, which results in colours ranging from copper green through to urban slate or pewter. Satin/matt in surface texture, these pieces are very tactile.

Home to little insects over the winter if left out.
