This body of work is known as The Haar series, inspired by the sea and sailing. They are wheel thrown using a variety of heavily grogged clays.  Glazes are copper based, so err towards greens, greys and black, depending on the application.  The bowls evoke memories of sailing trips, swirling waters, misty conditions, strong winds and high seas, all of which I've experienced over the years, being married to a keen sailor!
