About Me
I took up working with clay back in 2002, when I left work due to illness. What started out as a therapeutic hobby, has become an enjoyable and mentally stimulating way of life. Through my interest in ceramics, I've met many new friends who also have a mutual passion for working in this medium.
I started out attending adult education classes, and then moved on to setting up my own small studio at home. After becoming very isolated, I joined West Street Potters, an independent organisation near Farnham. With their encouragement, I embarked on studying for a Degree in 3D Design, with an emphasis on Ceramics at the University of Creative Arts, Farnham.
